Black Friday Deals!

 

Well, it's that time of year again, and with the HD Disc wars still being fought in the trenches, there are set to be some fantastic deals come the weekend after Thanksgiving.  All deals are for Friday, November 23 and Saturday, November 24 unless otherwise specified.  Here's what's known so far:

 

Amazon.com:

• The deals won't be posted until "Black Friday" is officially here, but they will have a page dedicated to all their great deals that day here.

 

Best Buy:

• Sony PS3 80GB -- On 11/24 at 8:00am, purchase for $499, get 10 free Blu-ray Disc movies (valued at up to $30 each) instore, plus get Motorstorm game free in the box, and get 5 more free Blu-ray disc titles by mail

 

Circuit City:

• Sony Playstation 3 40GB -- $399, includes SpiderMan 3 in the box, plus get a free SixAxis controller instore, and 5 free BD movies by mail
• Samsung BD-P1400 Blu-ray disc player -- $377.99, plus get 8 free BD movies by mail
• Sony BDP-S300 -- $399, plus get SpiderMan 3 BD in the box, a $25 Circuit City giftcard instore, and 5 free BD movies by mail

• Sony PlayStation 3 80GB -- $499, includes Motorstorm in the box, and 5 free movies by mail (the ad mentions 2 games included, but gives no specifics... could be a misprint)
• Logitech 670 Harmony remote -- $89.99, after $30 mail in rebate

 

BJ's Wholesale:

• Sony PlayStation 3 40GB or 80GB -- $100 off either system (not yet confirmed, and no timeframe given)

 

Meijer:

• All PS3 Games $39.99 or less, Buy 1 Get 1 Half off (Thursday only)
• Buy a PS3 40GB or 80GB and a wireless controller, get 1 game ($59.99 or less) free (Friday 5am - noon only)

 

Target, Kmart, Sears, and Toys 'R US ads feature no BD products or PS3 deals.  Walmart has been effective so far in preventing websites from posting their ad early this year.  I'll try to continue updating this post as ads come in.
